Burn Before Reading: A Carly Allen Story

Quote of the Day: 07.10.2017

Y'all ever watch that show called Pushing Daisies? What? Another alienating, niche reference no one can relate to? Tina, you are absolutely crushing it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I bring up Pushing Daisies because the main character owns a pie shop called the Pie Hole. And look at me. In a real life establishment called the Pie Hole. If I was smarter about this, I would have made the quote today from the tv show, but that was too next level thinking for me until I had already written the quote and started writing the blog. The quote's from The Wizard of Oz. I know it's a classic and everything, but I honestly don't fully know the plot. I know the Toto we ain't in Kansas line and the cowardly lion, but what happens for the rest of the movie? The Muppets did a remake and all I remember from that is one of them singing the line, "Cashmere is washable." I'd usually say something here about how it's shocking that I come across as a competent adult, but not ten minutes ago, I got mistaken for a sixteen-year-old, so maybe I'm not pulling it off.
