Quote of the Day: 08.01.17
Today's quote comes from Ned Vizzini's book, It's Kind of a Funny Story. They also made it into a movie while I was still in high school. Fun fact, apparently it came out on my birthday seven years ago. Now you all know my birthday, so please send gifts accordingly.
It's Kind of a Funny Story is the story of this kid named Craig who admits himself to the hospital because he says he really needs help. The hospital books him into a room in the psychiatric floor for one week. Throughout the course of the week, he meets and bonds with the people there and because it's a YA book, he meets a girl.
I'm officially moving today. I feel like I've grown as an adult because I actually packed everything ahead of time. And early. Like it's 6:11PM on the 31st (I know, I'm writing it early because I know tomorrow's gonna be busy) and I'm sitting on the couch watching The Flash.
I think I've just accepted the fact that I'm just gonna watch everything in the DC TV universe. I still haven't decided if I'm going to continue on with Supergirl, so I'm giving the other ones a shot. I finished Legends of Tomorrow a lot faster than I anticipated. (I'll talk about that on Wednesday. Don't you worry.)
Now, I may only be four episodes into The Flash, but I am in love with Iris West. When I went to the PaleyFest panel with all the DC TV shows, the moderator kept talking about how Iris is the heart of the show and I get it. She's the only one without powers, but she is the glue that holds all of it together. Also, Barry and Iris are the cutest thing I've ever seen and the first fictional straight couple I've cared about since Veronica Mars and Logan Echolls.
As an aside, I need The CW to get me the Iris West/Sara Lance buddy show of my dreams.
