Quote of the Day: 08.02.17
Houston, we have internet! That's right, guys. I am writing this from my brand new apartment at the IKEA table, sitting on the IKEA chairs I built all by myself. The table didn't come with instructions, but it only took me like ten minutes to build. The chairs came with instructions and it literally took me about a half an hour to figure it out. What does that say about me and my cognitive skills?
Anyway, the new apartment's great. Have I finished unpacking yet? No. Am I going to take a break now and watch the new episode of The Bold Type now that I have internet? You bet I am.
Also, since I'm sure everyone is concerned with my love affair with the neon museum down the street from me; I walked by it last night and it looks like everything I could ever want it to be.
Today's quote comes from The Color Purple. It's an Alice Walker novel that's also a movie and a musical, but not a movie musical. My sister and I saw the show on Broadway two years ago now, I guess? No, there's no way that's right, right? Whatever. Time's fake. But, if you want a pick-me-up on this fine Wednesday morning, let Cynthia Erivo change your life.
